#LocalBusiness: Southern Delight Freshies
Looking for some good smells for your room or vehicle? Say no more, and cross a visit to big-box scent stores off of your to-do list, because Southern Delight Freshies, owned by Karlie Canterbury, is here to meet all of your needs.
Southern Delight Freshies offers air fresheners for use pretty much anywhere, and has since August of 2022. “I had been following some people on social media that were making them, and I decided to give it a try,” Karlie says, “Business took off big time at the Apple Butter Festival in Chapmanville, in September that year.”
Karlie’s air fresheners are made from unscented aroma beads, which she scents herself using liquid oils. “I mix them and then cure them in a mason jar for 5-7 days,” She says. Her fresheners are available in a variety of scents, and right now, she’s added some specialty fall scents to the list. This includes pumpkin apple butter, pumpkin spice, toasted marshmallow, and caramel apples, so if you’re into cozy scents, now is the time to hit Karlie up.
These aren’t any old air fresheners, though– they’re also lovely pieces of art. Karlie offers everything from cow skulls and playing cards, to ghosts, fruit, and characters, as well as some more simple designs, so you’re bound to find something you’ll like.
Karlie enjoys the chance to build relationships with the folks in the community, and customize different products for her customers. If you’d like to join in on the fun and get yourself a beautiful, affordable air freshener, check out the Southern Delight Freshie’s FB group. You can also check out her products at the Collective Retail & Artisan Shops in downtown Williamson.
