St. Patrick’s Day Tips with Adam Adams

Happy St. Patrick’s Day from Williamson Forward! For ideas on celebrating this holiday, we talked with Adam Adams. Originally from a village called Kesh, located in County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland, Adam moved to town in 2003. Adam has since completed the naturalization process to become a United States Citizen, but he is still known as one of our favorite Irishman! Now, on to the list according to Adam.

Adam’s Top 3 Ways to Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day!

1. “You could have drinking. I don’t drink, but it is one of the more well-known ways to celebrate the day.”

Whether you enjoy spirits or not, grab some friends and go out for drinks and dinner! If you don’t want a Guinness, try a coffee with some Irish cream flavoring! It’s all about fun and laughs with friends!

2. “In my opinion, a big way to celebrate is to wear green!”

Wearing green is something everyone can do! Don’t own green clothes? You better make a button from green paper and pin it on! If you don’t wear green on St. Patrick’s Day, you’re likely to be pinched. An old Irish legend says those who wear green are invisible to leprechauns. Those mischievous, fairytale creatures will randomly pinch anyone they see. That’s what google says anyway.

3. “Check out some pictures of Ireland and the beautiful scenery. It’s amazing.”

Adam and his son, Sean visit with family in Ireland and always share photos from their travel adventures. Ireland is often referred to as the Emerald Isle because of the rolling green landscapes. It also boasts spectacular coastline views. If cityscapes are more your style, look up Dublin, Galway, or Killarney.

There you have it! Adam’s Top 3 Ways to Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day! No matter what you do on this day, enjoy it and don’t get pinched!
