TVCC Summer Arts & Crafts Market Set for August 5th

#ShopLocal at the TVCC Arts & Crafts Market

When it comes to local crafters and creators, Williamson and the surrounding areas have plenty of them. There are so many craftsman, artists, and more in the area producing beautiful works of art and functional works, and the Tug Valley Chamber of Commerce is putting the spotlight on them once again with their upcoming TVCC Summer Arts and Crafts Market. “We have an abundance of talented artisans in our area, and we are happy to provide a local market where they can sell their goods.” Says TVCC President Chris Dotson.

The Summer Market, which will run alongside the 4th annual Young Entrepreneurs Day, will take place on August 5th at the historic Williamson Fieldhouse, and will provide makers in the area the chance to share their creations with the world, no matter what it is they make– from woodworkers and potters to crocheters and painters, all are welcome to participate. Makers who wish to participate can fill out an application  via this link. Applications and vendor fees must be received by July 29.

Admission to the event is free, leaving you plenty of extra funds to bring home unique finds. Chris and the other members of the TVCC are excited to offer this event to folks in the area. “We enjoy being able to provide a fun, family friendly day of shopping to residents and visitors,” She says.

The market will be Saturday, August 5 from 10am to 3pm. To learn more about the event and share with friends, check out the Facebook event page. You can also gather  more information by calling the Coal House at 304-235-5240.
