For five years, Wildlife Women has been encouraging women to connect to nature and spend time in the great outdoors. Chapter leader Cassie Diamond describes Wildlife Women as an organization that “educates, inspires, and encourages” women to get outside and love the natural world. They host plenty of events to bring more women outside, including the ever-successful “Float Em If You Got Em” float.
Now, they’ll be encouraging local ladies to head out into the mountains, with the “Chillin on a Dirt Road” event! This will be a ladies-only camping trip to Hillbilly Heaven Campground in Delbarton, West Virginia. Participants will ride through the Hatfield-McCoy Trail System, and will be responsible for bringing their own ride.
The fun will begin on Friday, October 15, and will last all weekend. Breakfast will be provided on Saturday and Sunday mornings, and dinner will be provided on Saturday night. Campers will need to bring their own drinks, snacks, lunch, and dinner for Friday night. Campers will check in on Friday at 5pm, and checkout will be at noon on Sunday, October 17. Overnight spots are extremely limited, so reserve your space now! !Locals who don’t want to camp but want to participate can reach out for details on how to join in.
This event will be a weekend full of fun and riding. To find all the details about Chillin on A Dirt Road, visit the Facebook event page or email Cassie Diamond at cassiewildlifewomenky1@gmail.com or find her on Facebook messenger.
