Young Entrepreneur Spotlight: Erica Curry

Looking for some art and handamade creations for your home? If so, you won’t want to miss Young Entrepreneurs Day! Several young business owners will be coming out to sell their handmade creations including healthy snacks, homemade home decor, artwork, and more. Among them will be Erica Curry, who will turn her passion for painting into her own small business for the day.

Sharing Her Art With the World

Erica is a 16-year-old student at Mingo Central High School where she will be entering the 11th grade this fall. She heard about Young Entrepreneurs Day from the art teacher at Mingo Central, and thought it would be a great chance to share her hard work with the world. At her business, Making Marie, she will be selling hand-painted rocks and paintings on various sizes of canvases, as well as offering on-site commissions.

Erica is looking forward to seeing what her fellow business owners have to offer.

“I am most excited about getting to see what others at the event have to offer,” she says.

Come support Erica and the other young business owners, on Saturday, July 25th during Young Entrepreneurs Day 2020 hosted by the Tug Valley Chamber of Commerce and Healthy in the Hills. The event will be held at the Williamson Farmers Market on 3rd Avenue, Williamson,WV from 9am - 2pm.
