YED 2020 Spotlight: MicKah Steele & Camron Stafford

Young Entrepreneur Spotlight: MicKah Steele and Camron Stafford

On Young Entrepreneurs Day, folks from around the area will have the chance to support a variety of young business owners selling everything from home decor and art to smoothies and homemade jam. Among the young business owners will be MicKah Steele and Camron Stafford.

MicKah’s Market

MicKah and Camron are both 15 year old students at Belfry High School. At their business, MicKah’s Market, they will be selling door hangers and face masks made by MicKah. MicKah is no stranger to sharing her artistic skills with folks in Williamson. She’s been selling her door hangers on Facebook for a while, and earlier this summer, she helped paint the cement pig statues outside of some local businesses in WIlliamson.

MicKah was contacted by various people after helping out in town, and she thought it would be a good way to share her work with more people. “I wanted to expand my business and meet new people. I’m excited about selling my products to different people,” she says.

If you want to support the future of small business in our area, come out on Saturday, July 25th to support this pair and the other young entrepreneurs during Young Entrepreneurs Day 2020 hosted by the Tug Valley Chamber of CommerceTug and Healthy in the Hills. The event will be held at the Williamson Farmers Market on 3rd Avenue, Williamson,WV.
